I don’t think we would have had nearly the same experience as what we had with Jess at the reigns of our wedding! Everything was so professional, and well organized and left us feeling like we just walked out of a Disney fairytale.
The most amazing part is due to us working abroad we only met Jess and the team the day before our wedding, but she was able to take all the ideas based on calls and emails and put together the most memorable event of our lives, going beyond our expectations.

We came across the Mon Amour website as we were doing our wedding location research. We were immediately intrigued to find out more about Jess’ work. After reviewing the website and Instagram account, we knew that we wanted to chat with her.
We loved the style of the weddings that she planned and her warm personality came through in her work. Jess was always professional while maintaining her bubbly nature. She was honest and was always our advocate when things got a bit tough. Her planning process was very organized which was extremely important especially since we were planning a destination wedding.
Jess was always responsive to the questions that we had and she gained our trust easily. We were never stressed out about how things were coming along and were confident that she would execute. Our wedding had to be postponed due to COVID-19 and Jess guided us through the whole process. She rescheduled all of our vendors and continued to provide support as we waited for the time when we could start planning the wedding again. She always kept so calm despite all the uncertainty involved with the pandemic. Her guidance and positivity were key. Her passion for her work was evident and she handled situations with grace. Due to the unpredictable weather expected on our wedding day, Jess and her team were ready with backup plans days before the event.
Thankfully, the weather cooperated. Our wedding was more than we could have imagined. It was gorgeous and romantic. We were so impressed by how everything transitioned from one part of the wedding to another with no issues. Jess and her team were warm towards our family and friends. Jess really is the boss. We highly recommend her services. She provides an intimate experience and pays attention to detail. We hope to have future events in Cape Town and Jess will be our go-to planner. No doubt about it!!

As a destination bride from the USA during my wedding planning experience I was extremely cautious when researching wedding planners for my wedding; I needed to ensure foremost that the planner I chose was professional and would communicate effectively as I needed to trust them entirely during the wedding planning process.
I knew searching on Instagram would provide me with the most current wedding planners in Cape Town, double checking not only their Instagram feeds, but also the website and Facebook. The moment I saw Mon Amour Events Instagram feed I fell in love with their previous weddings and I was obliged to check out the website; to only find the most beautiful weddings and decor, not to mention Jessica had the warmest headshot and I instantly felt a connection; I then knew I needed to schedule a consultation.
Upon the first consultation, Jessica made me feel so comfortable and I told my Fiance at the time that Jessica was the perfect wedding planner for us! During my wedding planning process the world endured a global pandemic, the most devastating thing a bride could experience and Jessica was such a supportive person during the hectic ordeal of having to postpone our wedding. I’m sure I wouldn’t have been able to deal with the vendor rescheduling process without Jessica’s expertise. Jessica was able to revamp our destination wedding including 30 guests to a destination elopement that was more magical than I could have ever imagined!
I am beyond satisfied with the services of Mon Amour Events, I doubt any other planner in the country could have made my wedding dreams come true! I would without a doubt recommend Jessica to anyone planning a wedding in South Africa; my husband and I plan on having a vow renewal in the Winelands every 10 years and hiring Jessica as our planner.

From sourcing everything from chandeliers, golden cutlery and under plates, a remarkable professional to do the flowers, negotiating with the caterer, venue manager, deejay, hair stylist and make-up artist, stationary and heating company to arranging a trail make up and hair styling appointment two days before the wedding she did this all with a smile on her face.
Jessica took over the planning and coordination from the first meeting in April. The bride communicated her wishes and plans, the mother of the bride interfered to confuse the plot, and Jessica in her professional manner executed, steered, guided and made everything work.When I saw the venue and the product in the making an extreme feeling of relief took hold of me. I could sit back, relax and be a guest at the most beautiful day of my life.
Jessica was in absolute control. Her planning for the wedding program, speeches, meals, beverages and whatever you could think of was perfect. I had no worries about the break up the day after the wedding as she had everything under control.
This was a project which the bride and mother of the bride executed on remote control with Jessica as the captain of the ship.
